Hey everyone. My name is Dr. Rogers Saias, your chiropractor for work injuries in Philadelphia, PA. In this video, I’m going to answer a question that we get asked a lot, and that is: should I go to the chiropractor or should I go see a physical therapist for my work-related injury?

You know, to answer that question and be truthful, It depends. If you are injured at work and you’re injured your spine and it requires surgery, we don’t do post-surgical rehab. At least initially.

Chiropractic Treatment in Philadelphia, PA

We can certainly see that patient after they’ve done specific rehab for those injured areas. Or if you have broken a bone like your shoulder or your elbow or wrist or your leg, you know, that’s going to be specific therapy that we don’t provide at PA Pain and Rehab. What we do provide is chiropractic adjustments and physical rehabilitation.

So if you have a repetitive strain injury or lifting injury or anything that has injured your spine in any way or an extremity, we can help get those joints moving and feeling better as quickly as possible.

So chiropractic adjustments are designed to help put movement back into the joints of the spine that may have been damaged because of your work-related injury, same thing goes with the extremities.

We can provide extremity adjustments to help put movement back into the joints that are dysfunctional after again, repetitive strain or some other type of injury that has damaged the joints. We also do physical rehabilitation. So in addition to the chiropractic adjustments, we want to be able to rehabilitate the soft tissue that supports the spine or supports the extremities.

So we offer specific stretches depending on your injury and specific rehabilitation exercises, to get your spine functional, to get the extremities functional. So you can get back to work as quickly as possible. So you can get back on track with your life feeling better the way you were before you injured yourself.
