Chiropractic being an integral component to maximizing human performance
I became interested in becoming a chiropractor while attending Temple University. I was a senior at the time when I was trying to decide whether to pursue a post graduate degree in my major or do something else. At that time I specialized in Athletic Training and Sports Medicine where I was able to apply various procedures in the training room to athletes before and after competition. While working with the men’s gymnastics team one of the athletes informed me that members of the team were receiving supplement care outside the university at a chiropractor’s office. They claimed the chiropractor’s adjustments were extremely beneficial allowing them to physically maximize their potential. I talked to a few chiropractors and did some research on the profession and my mind was made up; becoming a chiropractor made perfect sense!
