We are seeking an experienced and energetic Lead Chiropractor to join us as an important part of our growth plans. If you are dedicated and ambitious, we are an excellent choice to help grow your career.

We have 6 medical centers located in the Philadelphia metro area focusing on physical rehabilitation. Our offices are staffed with MDs, Chiropractors and Medical Assistants. Our treatments focus mostly on personal injury and rehabilitation, but we are planning to grow into additional patient types and treatments.

We maintain a fast-paced, fun and flexible work environment that places a lot of value on its employees. As a Lead Chiropractor, you will be primarily responsible for working with patients and helping them with their rehabilitation needs. Beyond just providing excellent patient care, you will also research new treatment modalities that can be incorporated into our practice as well as have the opportunity, if desired, to learn all facets of running a practice.

This is the perfect role for any chiropractor who wants to take their profession a step further. The key to thriving at our office is to be knowledgeable, curious, and of course, possess an attitude geared towards helping other people.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
– Perform intake assessments by listening to patient’s concerns and reviewing medical records.
– Conducting new patient exams and ongoing re-examinations.
– Evaluate patients’ neuromusculoskeletal systems and the spine using chiropractic diagnosis to determine neuromusculoskeletal and spine related conditions.
– Perform chiropractic adjustments to the spine and extremities to remove subluxations to correct the musculoskeletal system.
– Provide patients with educational resources and a recommended treatment plan that will improve their physical health and comfort.
– Recommend and apply the use of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) like, braces and straps, supports, if necessary.
– Refer patients to see other types of specialists when necessary.
– Update patient medical records at the end of every appointment and file with correct administrative department for billing and record-keeping purposes.
– Research new chiropractic techniques, technology and procedures to further refine abilities and provide a superior level of care to patients.

Qualifications and Skills:
– Excellent interpersonal skills which are essential in building relationships with patients.
– Superior time management skills and the ability to juggle a large patient load.
– Ability to empathize with patients who are in pain as well as a strong desire to help improve their quality of life.
– Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to work as part of a close-knit team.
– Up to date on the latest chiropractic practices and a desire to provide cutting-edge care.
– Must have the dexterity and strength to perform adjustments and manipulations on patients.
– Communicating effectively in order to explain and maintain a customized patient treatment plan.
– Creating an excellent experience for patients through a friendly and focused attitude.
– Ability to listen carefully and respond in a way that is understandable to the average patient.
– Our ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of experience
– Pennsylvania Chiropractic License and Adjunctive Procedures required.

Medical Assistant (MA)

Company Overview:

PA Pain & Rehab (PAPR) has been operating for 20 years and has 6 facilities in the Philadelphia metro area, specializing in Physical Rehabilitation.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly motivated, positive and organized Medical Assistant to join our growing company. This position includes a competitive salary, bonus package, yearly bonuses with the potential for weekly/monthly bonuses, and Paid Time Off with opportunities for professional progression.

We have 6 medical centers located in the Philadelphia metro market focusing on physical rehabilitation. Our offices are staffed with MD’s, Chiropractors and Medical Assistants. Our treatments focus mostly on personal injury and rehabilitation but we are currently growing additional patient types.

In this position, you will be responsible for assisting the Chiropractor with office duties. The ideal candidate for this position would be someone who thrives under a fast-paced, changing environment. You would be responsible for directing patients to the proper treatment stations and providing patients with medical care. As a point of contact, you are required to possess the ability to thrive and remain calm under pressure, and excellent communication skills.

Additionally, you should display excellent communication and customer service skills, and that is always addressing patients with a positive attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

– Serve as a point of contact for the patient and make them feel comfortable
– Understand treatment and medical terminology to teach to patients, in order to help them understand their treatment plan
– Direct patients through the office
– Safely help patients on and off of electric muscle stimulation and traction beds
– Ensure that the exercise area and exam rooms remain clean

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
– Prior experience in either an outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting is preferred
– Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing and email
– Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters
– One or more years of demonstrated medical experience
– Excellent communication skills to relate to physicians, patients and other office staff
– Certification or Associates Degree in Medical Assistant is preferred

Compensation:

– Salary based on experience
– 401K with company contribution after 90 days Paid Time Off after 90 days

Key Responsibilities:

– Performing general office duties such as management of database system and reports
– Answering phones, greeting patients with enthusiasm and professionalism
– Making sure patients complete ALL necessary paperwork
– Track daily patient visits via database software
– Weekly scheduling of Chiro & MD appointments.
– Maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information
– Managing inventory
– Assists provider with collection, documentation, processing, and verification of information related to patient care in an EMR system.
– Keeps patients informed of wait times and manages visit expectations
– Communicates patient concerns and needs to the provider
– Assists in routine clerical functions such as filing of medical information in patient’s records, locating and compiling department charts, obtaining medical records from other providers.
– Taking a proactive role to increase office productivity and efficiency

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
– Prior experience in either a provider office, outpatient clinic or other healthcare setting is preferred.
– Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively on the phone, in writing and email
– Ability to exercise discretion on sensitive and confidential matters
– Ability to multitask and work in multiple computer systems simultaneously
– One or more years of demonstrated customer service experience
– Prior medical experience with an EMR system is a plus, but not a requirement
– Excellent communication skills to relate to physicians, patients and other office staff
