Dr. Kavita Gupta, newest member of PA Pain & Rehab's pain management staff

Dr. Kavita Gupta, DO, joins PA Pain & Rehab as a member of our pain management staff. Dr. Gupta will evaluate all of our patients within the first 4 to 6 weeks of treatment. During these exams, she will monitor the evolution of our patients’ pain, and provide comprehensive pain care. She will also decide whether the patients need to undergo a magnetic resonance imaging test (MRI). This will allow our doctors to see if there is any pressure being put on the nerves, and causing pain.

After examining the MRI results, Dr. Kavita Gupta will also schedule our patients for an electromyography (EMG), to test out the nerve and see if the nerve is actually the issue causing pain. Finally, after our patients have completed their treatment with our skilled chiropractors, Dr. Gupta will have a final session with every patient to determine if they are ready for discharge. Dr. Kavita Gupta will have rounds scheduled in all of our 6 offices in Philadelphia.
